What comfort in those Lords: "I must tell Jesus all of my troubles; He is a kind, compassionate Friend. If I but ask Him. He will deliver, make of my troubles quickly an end. I must tell Jesus' I must tell Jesus! I cannot bear these burdens alone: I must tell ,Jesus, I must tell Jesus Jesus can help me, Jesus alone."
I learned later that God answered our neighbor', prayers in such unusual ways that out of her sorrows came great blessings. Apparently Jesus had become more real to her than He had ever been before that terrible tragedy.
Matthew said that after John the Baptist was beheaded his disciples "took away ° his body and buried it" (14:12). The record is strangely silent about any sorrow, but the last part of the verse says it all. Matthew wrote that they "went and told Jesus." It seemed the only thing to do.
Are you heavy -hearted! Tell it to Jesus! --HGR
Are you weary are you heavy-hearted,
Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus;
Are you grieving over joys departed?
Tell it to Jesus alone
Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus;
Are you grieving over joys departed?
Tell it to Jesus alone
NO ONE UNDERSTAND LIKE JESUS
