The Legend of the Blair Witch began in 1785 with Elly Kedward who immigrated over to the town known as Blair (United States) from Ireland.

The Blair Witch symbol is a five-pointed compound symbol. Its center trianglre is pointing down. The five lines resemble the microcosmic man with arms and legs outstretched inside a circle (with a pentagram in the background)-- a magic symbol or charm among medieval alchemists and wizards. Also, it might have been a a magic symbol among medieval alchemists and wizards.
